Our differential pressure transmitters are characterised by high accuracy and long-term stability.
Differential pressure is a widely applicable measurand. It is used in numerous applications in the field of air conditioning and cleanroom technology, but also in ventilation process technology. Here you will find an overview of our differential pressure transmitters for stationary differential pressure measurement and their typical areas of application. All differential pressure transmitters of halstrup-walcher are designed for non-aggressive gaseous media. We offer pressure transmitters for industrial applications as well as for standard applications.
Our differential pressure transmitters for high requirements work according to the inductive measuring principle. The core piece is a diaphragm made of beryllium bronze. Its deflection is measured without contact using inductive displacement transducers. It sits between two measuring chambers and can thus measure positive and negative differential pressure. The measuring cell does not wear out due to friction or mechanical influences. The material beryllium bronze is very springy. It has excellent long-term stability, good temperature behaviour and very low hysteresis. This makes our high-quality pressure transmitters suitable even for the smallest measurement ranges of a few pascals.

Our differential pressure transmitters for standard applications work with different measuring cells. Their functions and accuracies are matched to basic requirements. They are the economical alternative for numerous applications.

To ensure the reliability of your pressure transmitters, we offer in-house calibrations and calibration certificates according to DKD guideline 6-1 or within the scope of ISO 9001. Learn more about our calibrations here.
In cleanrooms, it must be ensured that no contaminated air flows in from corridors or areas with a lower cleanroom class. This is achieved by continuous overpressure control. At the heart of the control are precise differential pressure transmitters with small measurement ranges (a few pascals).
Continuous pressure monitoring and control is prescribed in ISO standard 14644 for all cleanrooms.
A spot check of the measurement devices must take place at regular intervals.
In hospitals, it is vital to keep the air germ-free − for example in the operating theatre. Here, too, continuous overpressure ensures that no contaminated air from surrounding rooms penetrates.
The opposite measuring principle is used, for example, in isolation areas. Quarantines are used to contain epidemics. There must be a negative pressure in the room concerned compared to the surroundings so that no pathogens can escape.
Hygiene and sterility are key requirements in the pharmaceutical and food industries. This is ensured by suitable materials and elaborate cleaning processes. Product quality is jeopardised when the end product comes into contact with the ambient air. If the air is not treated, it transports germs and other contaminants (such as oil aerosols, particles, etc.) directly to the product.
Precise pressure measurement and control ensures that a safe overpressure is continuously maintained in the minienvironment.
